Regional Prosperity reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion:
- the successful Small Grants applicants;
- the amount of the Small Grants allocation;
- the method of payment; and
- the timing of payment to successful Small Grants applicants.
The decision to allocate Small Grants to successful applicants is final. Regional Prosperity is not required to provide reasons to unsuccessful applicants.
The Small Grants allocation must only be used and applied solely for the purpose of the project stated in the application. Regional Prosperity reserves the right to withdraw and request repayment of the Small Grants allocation if the funds are not used for the purpose outlined in the application.
Regional Prosperity must be advised if the project is no longer proceeding or cannot be completed within the agreed timeframes.
Expenditure of the Small Grants allocation must be completed within six (6) months of receiving payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Regional Prosperity.
In the case of an application being received for an annual event, a new Small Grants request must be lodged each year. Small Grants requests do not roll over and the application process resets annually.
An acquittal form must be submitted to Regional Prosperity within sixty (60) days after completion of the project. Failure to supply the acquittal form will disqualify the organisation from receiving future funding from Regional Prosperity.
Applicants agree to Regional Prosperity's payment terms, which may be provided separately, and Regional Prosperity reserves the right to update these terms at its discretion.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a Receiving Entity Form (or equivalent documentation as specified by Regional Prosperity) prior to receiving any payment. This will be made available once applicants have been notified of their successful application.
Any unspent portion of the Small Grants allocation must be returned to Regional Prosperity.
If the actual total project cost exceeds the Small Grants allocation, Regional Prosperity will not be responsible or obliged to pay any additional monies beyond the allocated grant amount.
Successful applicants must maintain appropriate insurances (including public liability insurance) and provide certificates of currency to Regional Prosperity upon request.
Where feasible, successful applicants will acknowledge Regional Prosperity in media and advertising materials relating to the project. Any acknowledgement must be approved by Regional Prosperity prior to distribution. Photos and content form part of the acquittal process; however, Regional Prosperity welcomes and encourages recipients to provide additional material to the community team.
Regional Prosperity reserves the right to include details of Small Grants recipients and funded projects in its media, newsletters, website, and other promotional materials.
Regional Prosperity reserves the right to withdraw a Small Grants allocation if an organisation is found to be involved in illegal activities.
Regional Prosperity will not accept incomplete or unsigned applications (including acknowledgement of these Terms and Conditions), or applications submitted after the closing date.
If a successful applicant is registered for GST, the amount of the Small Grants allocation will exclude GST, subject to a valid tax invoice being supplied to Regional Prosperity.
If an initiative funded under the Small Grants Program is cancelled and unable to be rescheduled, the recipient must refund the grant amount to Regional Prosperity. If the initiative is carried over and rescheduled for a later date, no refund will be required, provided the initiative remains consistent with the details provided in the original grant application.
This document does not constitute an offer by Regional Prosperity. Regional Prosperity reserves the right not to grant funding to any applicant, including where applications comply with all eligibility criteria.
