A Director and Financial Adviser at Regional Prosperity, Andrew brings decades of experience and a CPA's eye for detail — and, as Finance Leader, keeps the firm running with a high level of accounting and fiscal discipline.
Andrew is one of the firm’s Directors and a Financial Adviser, with decades of experience behind him. As Finance Leader, he’s also responsible for ensuring Regional Prosperity operates with a high level of accounting and fiscal discipline — a reflection of his background as a CPA, and something clients feel the benefit of even when they never see it.
His qualifications run deep: a Bachelor of Business, CPA, a Master of Applied Finance from Melbourne, and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). It’s an unusually strong blend of accounting and finance. Andrew is the first to say he’s no narrow specialist — and that’s rather the point: the breadth and seniority he brings make him a steady, trusted voice across the firm’s advice.
Andrew is a committed part of the Queenscliff community, with long-standing involvement on the committee of the Queenscliff Football & Netball Club — the Coutas — where three of his boys have pulled on the jumper, one of them still playing. Away from work and the footy club, he’s a devoted, if self-confessedly average, golfer.
Andrew isn't one for narrow labels. After decades in the profession, he brings broad, senior judgement to whatever lands on his desk.
As a CPA and the firm's Finance Leader, Andrew keeps Regional Prosperity running with the accounting and financial discipline clients quietly rely on.
A Master of Applied Finance and CFP® on top of his CPA — the kind of grounding that brings real rigour to the more involved decisions.
